"red shoes - grüngras"

for the central sculptures in his exhibition entitled "red shoes - grüngras" in the fagus factory, franz betz uses the woodworking machines on location. starting from beech blanks and wedge-shaped dovetails, the sculptor creates new structures und surfaces marked by authentic traces.

the exhibition was opened on 4 may 2006 by mr. klaus hinzpeter, the manager of fagus-grecon.
prof. albert schmid-kirsch, from the architectural faculty of the university of hannover gave an introduction to the exhibition laudatio (doc).

there will be a talk with the artist and tours of the fagus-gropius exhibition on international museum day (21 may 2006) [>]
